L.E.G.S. stands for Learning, Environment, Genetics and Self - the four components that dog trainer Kim Brophey considers when looking at an animal's behavior.

This breed group deep dive goes into the characteristics of what can be categorized as in the Natural Dog group.  This breed group includes:  Akita, Alaskan Malamute and other snow loving breeds, Dingo, Spitz breeds, Chow Chow, Shar Pei, Shiba Inu and more.  Review what their original “jobs” were, their levels of sociality, predatory and hazard avoidance instincts as well as how their genetics may affect their pet potential.
