Description
L.E.G.S. stands for Learning, Environment, Genetics and Self - the four components that dog trainer Kim Brophey considers when looking at an animal's behavior.

This breed group includes: Mastiffs, Rottweilers, Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds, Great Danes and more.  While there are many subgroups in this breed group depending on what they were guarding (e.g. property, livestock, etc.)  Review what their original “jobs” were, their levels of sociality, predatory and hazard avoidance instincts as well as how their genetics may affect their pet potential.
