Description
The key to understanding dogs is learning to read their body language. Dogs communicate extensively with other dogs by using their body positioning and carriage - and they're attempting to do the same with us. The better you get at interpreting their language, the more you'll be able to understand about your dog's emotional state at any given moment. Over a series of three videos, Dr. Jen Nesbitt-Hawes gives a primer on interpreting dog body language, a lesson so important that we are providing it for free to the public.

Dr Jen Nesbitt-Hawes, BVSc, MVSt, MANZCVS (Veterinary Behaviour)

Dr Jen Nesbitt-Hawes is a veterinarian with a Masters in Wildlife Conservation and Membership of the Behaviour Chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Science. Her veterinary career has led her around the world, including locum work in the United Kingdom, experience with game animals in South Africa, research with Orang-Utans in Sumatra, and a Behaviour Consultation practice back in Australia.
In 2016 she founded Pet Perspective, a business dedicated to supporting pet professionals by creating positive-reinforcement-based resources for their clients. She has presented and written articles for many publications and groups including: Australian Veterinary Association conference, ANZCVS Science Week, PPGA, APDT conferences, GeekWeek, Animal Care Australia Magazine, Control and Therapy Magazine, Click! Magazine and more.
Dr Jen lives near Sydney, Australia and is currently being intensively trained in the ways of small humans.
